I have to admit, this outfit was 100 percent inspired by a look I saw repeated over New York Fashion Week over and over again. Since the weather in New York at the time was cold and snowy, fashionistas broke out their most chic outerwear, beanies included. While I'm not typically a hat person, I thought I'd give the trend a try. Well folks, I'm now a beanie believer. They're no longer just for the hipster that hasn't washed their hair in weeks. They've gone main stream because they're inexpensive, practical for warming purposes, and easy to pull off. Just remember to keep the rest of your outfit classic and simple, or otherwise run the risk of looking like Courtney Love is your bestie.
In other news, I'm over at Mae Badiyan's blog sharing my two favorite sandals for spring, a sandal showdown if you will. Click here to check it out! Happy Monday loves!
