it's Friday. I know this week was only four days long but it felt way longer. Happy to be on the other side of an exam and my myriad of appointments, I'm feeling significantly less stressed. The week's appointments brought both good and bad; I found out that I have to have my top wisdom teeth pulled, something that should have been done when the bottom teeth were removed four years ago - having to have the surgery twice is going to be awful. On a positive note, my hair appointment to go ombre last night went well and I love my new 'do. I'm not sure why but I feel incredibly French all of a sudden. I'll make sure and get some pics for you guys this weekend and post them.
On a side note, I finally started watching Downton Abbey at the recommendation of many. It really is as good as they say! And just as addictive too... Don't start the series until you have a few days of down time to devout to your couch and tv.
Also, as most of you know, Tuesday was Mardi Gras and Wednesday was the beginning of Lent. Besides the religious reasonings behind giving up something for Lent, Lent is a great time to remind yourself to focus on your New Year's resolution. Thus, to go along with my resolution to be healthier, I've decided to give up "being lazy" and workout 30 times in 40 days. While that seems doable, the added challenge is that our Napa vacation is right in the middle of Lent so I'll have to plan to reach my goal considering I will not be working out on vacation. Only 28 more workouts to go...
Also, make sure and head on over to In the City with Crystalin for a guest post I did on my top five favorite spring trends. Crystalin has been in Costa Rica for a wedding all week and enjoying margaritas and sunshine... jealous!
Happy Friday everyone! Any fun plans?!

Ombre hair??!! I must see! I've actually been considering that myself.
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit, every piece!
Good luck with the surgery. I've had 4 knee surgeries so I feel your pain. :o(
OMG I JUST started to watch Downton Abbey myself and completely agree! Ironically, my husband is the one who started it and completely immersed himself before I jumped on (which is usually the other way around). =)
