Whew!

As of 6:00 yesterday evening, I'm officially half way done with the grad degree and free of school for the next month. While I still will be working, getting to come home and relax in the evenings as opposed to sitting in class will be a welcome change. I have to admit, after a post-final nap on the couch last night, I ended up crawling into bed around 9:00 pm, overslept my alarm this morning, and woke up at 7:00am. I guess I really was exhausted.

But with the semester behind me and the Holidays here, I'm now in the best of spirits. To my surprise, today at work I received a surprise bonus and a raise! While I'm really tempted to buy myself one the bags I posted here, but instead I'm going to test my will power and put it away in the bank so that someday soon I can have this:

Okay, more realistically, this, sooner than later.

I did buy myself a small little present though from Ruelala this morning. It was just too good of a deal to pass up and I do love myself some Halston.

This is the back. I'm a little nervous about the open back but I think it'll be fun!

What do you think? I was planning on wearing it on either Christmas, but more likely New Years.

To top off my amazing day, my dad called randomly and asked if I knew about this "horse ballet thing" in town, aka Cavalia, and wanted to know if I wanted to go tomorrow night. For those of you that don't know this about me, I have ridden since I was a little girl, though taking a break right now, and am one of the most horse-crazed people you will meet. Cavalia, which is an equestrian verson of Cirque du Soleil, will be right up my alley! If you happen to live in either Portland, Seattle, or Minneapolis, you too can see the show. They rotate between these three over the next few months. Also, if there are cameras allowed, I'll make sure to post some.

Tonight, I'm having two of my best girlfriends over for a classic high school slumber party tonight- with wine of course, an addition since we first started these parties in high school.

Hoping everyone has a fantastic weekend!
